Variants


C-27J Spartan

Standard tactical transport variant, first introduced in 2006. This is the most common variant of the C-27J.

HC-27J Spartan

US Coast Guard variant, introduced in November 2014. Created by fitting 14 former US Air Force C-27J with special mission equipment such as surveillance equipment and multi-mode radar.

MC-27J Preatorian

Special operations support variant. Created using equipment initially. developed for the cancelled AC-27 Stinger II project for US Air Force Special Operations Command. Can operate as aerial gunship with 30mm autocannon and Hellfire missiles. Three aircraft ordered by the Italian air force in 2016.

EC-27J Jedi

Electronic warfare variant. The name JEDI is an acronym for "jamming and electronic defence instrumentation". Ordered in 2010 by the Italian air force.
